CJ Verdell is fast, folks. The Oregon Ducks running back took a handoff late in the first quarter against Washington State and took it 89 yards to the house.
This touchdown was a clear illustration of Verdell’s talent. Just a stunning show of raw speed, along with some outstanding blocking up front by Oregon’s offensive linemen.
The Ducks ended up missing the extra point, going up 9-3 over Wazzu with just over a minute left in the first quarter.
