Just in case Louisiana-Lafayette wasn’t embarrassed enough in the first quarter against Alabama, Crimson Tide receiver Henry Ruggs added to it in the second quarter.
Shortly after Jalen Hurts entered the game, he unleashed a deep strike to Ruggs in the middle of the field. Ruggs immediately took off and with three defenders around him, knocked them all over like bowling pings then walked into the end zone.

Losing 35-0 with nearly 14 minutes remaining in the second quarter already looked bad. For the Ragin’ Cajuns to have three defenders surrounding Ruggs then have all three bowled over is just embarrassing.
At this point, Louisana-Lafayette should just be counting down each second until this game comes to an end. Even with Alabama’s backups in, there appears to be no mercy coming for the Ragin’ Cajuns.
