Footage of the new infamous fight at Golden State Warriors practice between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole has officially hit the web.
The defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors have been the biggest story in the league this week. However, it hasn’t been a narrative about the NBA’s current dynasty making another run to the finals with training camp underway. No, the team has been at the forefront of the news cycle for all the wrong reasons.
Earlier this week, it was reported that four-time All-Star Draymond Green and the team’s best young star Jordan Poole had gotten into an altercation at a recent practice. There was various speculation on what happened and why with some reports claiming Green was the individual who made things physical by throwing the first punch.
In an attempt to diffuse the growing scandal in their locker room, head coach Steve Kerr and general manager Bob Myers met with the media to discuss the events the NBA world has been talking about. Myers explained that Green has met with his teammates since the altercation and apologized ahead of practice on Wednesday before leaving the facility. The GM has left it up to Kerr in regard to when Green will be allowed to return and a possible punishment will be handled inside the organization.

It seemed like the incident was done and finished. Well, that is until TMZ Sports somehow was able to obtain footage of the scrap between Green and Poole and release it publicly. Which can be viewed below.
The video has no sound, but it shows Poole saying something to Green as he walks by during a pause in the practice session. The pair continue to converse with Green, of course, being the more animated of the two. Eventually, the 32-year-old slowly rolls up on his Poole to make the chat a bit more intimate. When Green gets a little too close, Poole shoves him.
Despite the push, nearby coaches reacted very slowly and let the situation play out. It played out in Green delivering an impromptu superman punch that seemed to wobble his teammate. Before he could follow up with more shots, coaches finally jumped in and stopped the fight like a referee would for a technical knockout in the UFC.
With the footage hitting the web and the world now being able to see Green KO Poole, things in the Warriors locker room should get even more awkward in the weeks ahead.
