Heading into NFL Week 18, the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers are favored to do battle in Super Bowl LVIII next month.

Whether the two actually go up against one another in a rematch of Baltimore’s win over San Francisco on Christmas night remains to be seen. There is a whole heck of a lot of football to play over the next month before we find out.

But social media has been afire recently with a conspiracy theory indicating that the NFL script has been written for the big game in Las Vegas. Why is that? The actual Super Bowl LVIII logo.

The logo itself is a combination of purple and red.

This must be nothing more than a concidence, right? Well, maybe.

Check out the logo for Super Bowl LVI between the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams in February of 2022.

What about the Super Bowl LVII logo in a game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs last February?

You have to be noticing a theme here. Red and yellow equates to the Bengals and Rams. Green and red? Eagles and Chiefs. Both were seen as pretty big time contenders heading into the playoffs that season. You also must realize that these logos are made years in advance?

Heading into Week 18 of the regular season, Baltimore and San Francisco are the top seeds in their respective conferences. Both will have first-round byes. Each has home-field advantage in the lead-up to Super Bowl LVIII.

Need we say more? No. We’ll leave that to the one and only Aaron Rodgers.

“If the Super Bowl is Baltimore and San Fran, then I tell you what that Super Bowl LIX emblem better have Jet green on it,” Rodgers said on The Pat McAfee Show earlier in the week.

This is a Rodgers’ conspiracy theory we’re pretty sure San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens fans can get behind (bad joke).

The only other realistic matchup if we buy into the conspiracy theory is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on Baltimore. The NFL can’t make it so obvious with the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings doing battle. Can it?

As an aside, the NFL made a joke during its kickoff week this season with an ad playing into it all being scripted.

The joke could be on all of us.

We’ll see soon enough.
