The Philadelphia Phillies and San Francisco Giants swapped pitchers Monday, with right-hander Yunior Marte heading to Philadelphia and minor league left-hander Erik Miller going to San Francisco.

Marte, 27, made his major league debut with the Giants in 2022, posting a 1-1 record and a 5.44 ERA in 48 innings over 39 appearances. Marte split the season between the Giants and their Triple-A affiliate Sacramento, where he was 1-1 with a 3.16 ERA in 25 2/3 innings over 25 appearances.

Marte was originally signed by the Kansas City Royals as an amateur free agent on July 19, 2012. He has worked exclusively as a reliever since the beginning of the 2018 season.

Miller, 24, was selected by the Phillies in the fourth round of the 2019 MLB Draft. Over three minor league seasons, he is 2-1 with a 2.51 ERA over 48 appearances (19 starts).
