Justin Jefferson NFL Draft
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

LSU star wide receiver Justin Jefferson is coming off a tremendous junior season that saw the 6-foot-3 pass catcher record 111 receptions for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Jefferson now feels like he has nothing left to prove at the collegiate level. The receiver announced on Wednesday that he is declaring for the 2020 NFL Draft.

Almost a sure-fire first-round pick in April, Jefferson will join his teammate Joe Burrow as a Day 1 selection once the annual event comes calling in Las Vegas.

The 2020 NFL Draft class is absolutely loaded at receiver. Our latest mock has eight receivers going in the opening round with Jefferson set to catch passes from the great Lamar Jackson.

Just imagine how awesome that would be.
