Minnesota Outback Bowl Tanner Morgan

The Minnesota Golden Gophers are coming off one of their best regular seasons in recent program history.

Minnesota finished the regular slate with a 10-2 record, earning victories over the likes of Penn State and Nebraska in the process.

Their reward was a bid to the Outback Bowl on New Year’s Day against the Auburn Tigers. Pretty excited about their biggest bowl game since the early 1960s, Golden Gopher players sent the Outback Bowl thank you notes for the invite.

This is a pretty awesome show of gratitude from P.J. Fleck’s squad.

They know how special this season has been and are looking to continue their winning ways in one of the better non-playoff bowl games on the schedule.
