Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens made another statement, clinching the AFC North with a blowout win over the New York Jets Thursday night. Then, Jackson made a statement after the game with his choice of attire.
Jackson came into the media room for his postgame press conference wearing a “The North is not enough” T-shirt.
Clearly, Jackson is letting everyone know he and his teammates don’t view winning the AFC North as a worth achievement. Only winning the Super Bowl will be enough for this group.
Thankfully for Jackson and the Ravens, they have as good (or better) chance as any team in the AFC. Winners of 10 straight games, they hold the No. 1 seed in the AFC and hold the tiebreaker over the New England Patriots due to their win on Nov. 3.
Right now, the world belongs to Jackson and Co. Will the good times last? Or will another team find a way to stop this juggernaut?
