Josh Rosen has been put through the ringer before and during the 2019 NFL Draft, but he has a strong ally in former teammate Larry Fitzgerald.
Ultimately traded to Miami after the Arizona Cardinals selected Kyler Murray No. 1 overall, Rosen has understandably been frustrated by the way things have played out with the team that drafted him No. 10 overall just one year ago.
However, he has not been dealing with the drama without assistance. Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported Saturday that Fitzgerald has been staying in touch with Rosen and offering wisdom about his next steps.
Their relationship is so strong that, even after the trade, Rosen is attending Fitzgerald’s softball game on Saturday.
One of the classiest men in the NFL, Fitzgerald once again has raised the bar. Just an incredible show of veteran leadership, and care for Rosen as a person.
