Florida Gators troll themselves on Twitter during blowout loss to Missouri

To say 2017 has been a bitter pill to swallow for the Florida Gators and their fans would be an understatement of epic proportions. After firing head coach Jim McElwain this past week and benching freshman quarterback Feleipe Franks (who didn’t take it well) for Notre Dame transfer Malik Zaire, things aren’t looking any better.

As I sit here writing these words, Missouri is absolutely trashing Florida, winning 35-9 at the end of the third quarter. Zaire hasn’t been able to spark the Gators’ offense, throwing an interception. Florida’s defense has been helpless to stop Drew Lock, Larry Roundtree III and Co.

It’s been ugly. Especially considering Missouri’s defense has been awful all year.

With all that as a backdrop, I present to you Florida’s response on Twitter.

Perfection.

Seriously, though, Florida Gators fans, look away. Nothing can be gained from watching this team right now. Unless you just thrive on stress and anxiety. If that’s the case, then by all means keep watching Florida get throttled by Missouri.
