Eight outrageous quotes involving NFL Week 3 games

Patriots president calls Baltimore Ravens “sweethearts”

Robert Kraft Jonathan Kraft

What NFL team wants to be called a girly term like “sweethearts?”

It is no secret that the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens are not exactly best friends after the Ravens lost to the Patriots in the AFC divisional playoff game. Now, the Ravens are 0-3 while the Patriots are 3-0. Patriots president Jonathan Kraft shared his sympathy, stating that he doesn’t think karma has anything to do with the Ravens losses:

“Oh, that has nothing to do with it,” Kraft said via baltimoreravens.com). “The Ravens are sweethearts. (Ravens Head Coach) John Harbaugh, he’s a sweetheart.”

This was surely Kraft’s attempt at taking a dig to kick a team that is already down. Way to keep it classy, Kraft. The Patriots and Ravens won’t meet up this season unless it is in the playoffs next January.
