Colts QB Jacoby Brissett will be game-time decision against Dolphins

Jacoby Brissett

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett suffered a knee injury last Sunday against Pittsburgh, but he could play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

Brissett, who has practiced the past three days for the Colts, is officially going to be a game-time decision for Sunday’s game, per head coach Frank Reich.

When Brissett exited the game against Pittsburgh last Sunday, it didn’t look good. He had a body fall right into his leg, which bent awkwardly. However, an MRI showed that Brissett suffered an MCL strain, which is about the best possible diagnosis in a situation like that.

Since becoming the Colts’ starter in light of the shocking Andrew Luck retirement news, Brissett has been phenomenal. The veteran has completed 64.8% of his passes for 1,649 yards with 14 touchdowns and just three interceptions.

The Colts enter Week 10 with a 5-3 record and are just one-half game behind the Houston Texans in the AFC South.
