C.J. Stroud is coming off a fantastic rookie season in what’s arguably the best performance by a rookie QB yet. Meanwhile, his former fellow Ohio State Buckeyes teammate Justin Fields is coming off another season mired with inconsistency.

The two quarterbacks’ careers are headed in different directions, and soon enough Fields may even be headed to a different team if the Chicago Bears make a final decision on who the No. 1 pick will be in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Either way, Stroud doesn’t like how the Bears are treating their recently drafted first-round QB.

We’re a little less than two months away from the 2024 NFL Draft. Chances are, we’ll know what the Chicago Bears’ plans are by then, with trade discussions involving Justin Fields expected to heat up during the NFL Scouting Combine next week.

Since C.J. Stroud and Fields both attended Ohio State and both became first-round picks, the two quarterbacks will forever be tied together. Even if their play styles are completely different, the two players will undoubtedly be compared to one another throughout their playing careers.

Yet, it’s also become clear that the two are very supportive of one another. The latest evidence came during a recent interview with Stroud, where he essentially acknowledges that the Bears are dumb.

As the host conveniently provided a reason why the Bears may be so quick to move on from Stroud, all the Texans QB could do was laugh. As he stated, “You said it, not me.”

Should the Bears keep Fields or draft Caleb Williams? The debate never ends, but Stroud has made it known how he feels.
