The injury star running back LeSean McCoy suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers could have been a lot more significant. It looked really bad when it happened.
Fortunately for McCoy and the fledgling Bills, the injury itself doesn’t seem to be too serious.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the six-time Pro Bowler suffered cracked rib cartilage and is questionable for next week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. If he’s unable to go, the expectation is that Shady won’t miss more than one game.
Bills' RB LeSean McCoy has cracked rib cartilage, leaving him questionable for Sunday's game at Minnesota against the Vikings, per source. McCoy should not miss more than one game, if that. McCoy has had this injury before, and it is not expected to sideline him very long.

Already 16-point underdogs for this road date, Buffalo certainly needs McCoy in the mix if it expects to stand any real chance of pulling off the major upset.
A product of lackluster quarterback play, McCoy has put up just 61 yards on 16 attempts through two games. Even then, he’s Buffalo’s most-proven offensive weapon.
The Bills enter Week 3 with a 0-2 record and have been outscored by 55 total points.
