Laviska Shenault broke the game open for Colorado Friday night against USC with a game-changing 71-yard touchdown reception.
Already up by three points, the Buffaloes saw that lead increase thanks to the raw speed of Shenault, who was long gone from the moment he caught this short slant.
Folks, that’s way too easy. Shenault wasn’t challenged off the break, and before the USC cornerback and safety could even think about converging for a tackle, the play was over.
This 71-yard touchdown from Shenault gave Colorado a 24-14 lead over USC with most of the second half yet to be played. It also gave Shenault 140 yards on the game.
