Reports: Oilers acquiring Adam Henrique, Sam Carrick from Ducks

The Edmonton Oilers are acquiring forwards Adam Henrique and Sam Carrick from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for undisclosed draft picks, multiple media outlets reported on Wednesday.

TSN reported that a third-party broker likely is involved in the transaction.

Henrique, 34, has recorded 42 points (18 goals, 24 assists) in 60 games this season. He is playing on the final campaign of a five-year, $29.125 million contract and will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.

Henrique has totaled 521 points (257 goals, 264 assists) in 890 career games with the New Jersey Devils and Ducks. He was selected by the Devils in the third round of the 2008 NHL Draft.

Carrick, 32, has collected 11 points (eight goals, three assists) in 61 games this season. He is playing in the final campaign of a two-year, $1.7 million contract and will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.

Carrick has totaled 48 points (26 goals, 22 assists) in 224 career games with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ducks.
