Less than a week after seeing Lane Kiffin depart for Mississippi, Florida Atlantic has itself another big-name head coach.

According to multiple media reports, the Owls have hired recently-fired former Florida State head coach Willie Taggart to replace Kiffin.

Taggart, 43, served as Florida State’s head coach for less than two seasons, posting a 9-12 record in the process.

Prior to that, he had a ton of success at South Florida before spending one season as the Oregon Ducks head coach.
