Michigan WR Nico Collins ‘likes’ tweet with #FireHarbaugh hashtag

It appears that Michigan fans aren’t the only ones starting to get frustrated with the Jim Harbaugh era. Based on his social media activity, it looks like star receiver Nico Collins is ready for a change.

Following the team’s embarrassing loss to Wisconsin Saturday, Collins “liked” a tweet that included the hashtag #FireHarbaugh.

The tweet also featured a video (with some adult language sprinkled in) of Collins, who was wide open and begging for the ball.

It didn’t come his way, and at the end of the day he had just three catches for 66 yards. On the season, Collins has caught just eight balls for 147 yards and one touchdown. So perhaps he’s just frustrated that Michigan’s offense is struggling.

Then again, it’s worth pointing out that the #FireHarbaugh hashtag is trending for a reason.

Regardless of where the frustration stems from, it’s clear that Michigan’s football program has not lived up to expectations under Harbaugh’s leadership. In fact, he’s been downright dreadful in big games against top teams.
