5-time NBA All-Star interested in signing with the Miami Heat

The Miami Heat have already added the likes of guards Terry Rozier (trade) and Patty Mills (buyout) thus far this season as the defending Eastern Conference champions look to repeat.

These aren’t the needle movers that front office head Pat Riley expected to make. Remember, Miami was favored to land Damian Lillard in a trade with the Portland Trail Blazers before he headed to the Milwaukee Bucks.

With Miami currently at 35-29 and as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference heading into Wednesday’s game with the Denver Nuggets, could the team look to make another move?

The five-time All-Star just appeared on an episode of The OGs with former Miami Heat players Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller. He was asked about the possibility of joining Miami to close out the season.

“1,000 percent. I talk about that all the time. You know what I mean? Just feel like I can help them a lot,” Wall said.

Wall, 32, last suited up with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2022-23. The former No. 1 overall pick averaged 11.4 points and 5.2 assists on 41% shooting in 34 games.

Once one of the better point guards in the NBA, Wall has seen injuries derail his career. He’s played in just 96 games since the end of the 2017-18 season with the Washington Wizards.

As for whether Miami will show interest in Wall, it’s not yet known. As noted above, they added two guards to the mix earlier in the season. It seems to be a long shot at this point.
