Le’Veon Bell has no interest in playing for your Jets

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell is technically slated to become a free agent in March. Though, the Steelers are going to prevent that from happening by placing the franchise tag on him. Heck, it appears the two sides are zeroing in on a long-term deal.

On the off chance that Bell actually does hit free agency, we can cross one team off his list. The All-Pro running back made it abundantly clear on Twitter Thursday that he has no interest in joining the New York Jets.

What did this poor Jets fan ever do to you, Le’Veon? As we speak, he’s probably out here staining his Matt Forte jersey with tears of grief. Jeez, man.

Bell is coming off a 2017 campaign that saw him put up nearly 2,000 total yards and 11 touchdowns. He’s in line to become the highest-paid running back in NFL history. It’s just not going to be with the Jets.
