Houston Texans star receiver DeAndre Hopkins missed practice Wednesday due to illness, and he was unable to practice on Thursday as well.
As reported by the Houston Chronicle, Hopkins did not practice Thursday due to the same illness that kept him out Wednesday.
Mid-week practices being skipped by veterans isn’t surprising. But it is a bit alarming that Hopkins is being hit with an illness that has him out for multiple days this week.
Houston needs to stay hot in its final two games to ensure it locks up the AFC South. With a record of 8-5 heading into Week 16, the Texans are one game ahead of the Tennessee Titans, whom they play in Week 17.
