The Washington Commanders signed German-born defensive tackle David Bada to the active roster Saturday.

He becomes the fourth current player from the NFL’s International Pathway Program on an active roster, joining Washington defensive end Efe Obada, Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Jordan Mailata and Las Vegas Raiders fullback Jakob Johnson.

Bada, 27, was born in Munich and has spent the last three seasons with an exempt status on the Commanders’ practice squad.

He previously played in the German Football League with the Munich Cowboys, Ingolstadt Dukes and Schwabisch Hall Unicorns.

In a corresponding move, the Commanders (7-7-1) released defensive tackle Daniel Wise ahead of Sunday’s game against the visiting Cleveland Browns (6-9).
