In the midst of a seven-game winning streak, Green Bay Packers two-time MVP Aaron Rodgers has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss Sunday’s matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
With Rodgers being ruled out, backup quarterback Jordan Love will make his first start, going mano a mano with Patrick Mahomes.
Love, who was selected 26th overall by the Packers in the 2020 NFL Draft has completed 5-of-7 passes in his NFL career, totaling 68 yards. He’ll get a chance to add to those totals Sunday.
As rumors continue to dwell regarding the future of AR12 in Green Bay, this will be their first true chance to see what Love can do against an NFL defense when the games count.
