Quarterback: Gardner Minshew II, Indianapolis Colts ($5,400)

Syndication: The Indianapolis Star

Minshew threw for over 300 yards and two TDs last week in Tennessee. This week, he has a great matchup against the Bengals’ defense, which is allowing almost 23 fantasy points per game to opposing QBs. He can be stacked with his main target Michael Pittman and running back Zack Moss.

Running Back: Alexander Mattison, Minnesota Vikings ($5,500)

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Atlanta Falcons

The Vikings’ offense has been a little inconsistent because of injuries, but they get a huge boost this week as WR Justin Jefferson is expected to be back in the lineup. His return could open their offense and provide more lanes for the running game. Mattison also has a decent matchup against the Raiders’ defense, which is ranked 28th against the RB position.

Honorable mention: RB Keaton Mitchell, Baltimore Ravens ($4,900)

Wide Receiver: Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos ($4,700)

NFL: Denver Broncos at Houston Texans

Jeudy has been complaining about his involvement in the Broncos’ offense, but this could be a week where he bounces back. Against the Chargers in Week 18 of last season, he had 27 fantasy points. He should have some opportunity again this week against the Chargers’ defense, which is allowing almost 23 fantasy points per game to opposing WRs.

Honorable mention: WR Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars ($3,000)

Tight End: Gerald Everett, Los Angeles Rams ($3,400)

NFL: Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs

Everett is averaging 11 fantasy points over the last two games, and he has a good matchup against the Broncos’ 26th-ranked defense against the TE position. Don’t expect too much, but consider Everett if you need a value play at tight end.

Defense: Atlanta Falcons ($2,900)

NFL: New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons’ defense has averaged almost 15 fantasy points per game over the last two games. In Week 7, they forced two turnovers and three sacks and held the Tampa offense under 14 points. There’s some risk here, but the Falcons are viable.
