Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb may be the Dallas Cowboys superstars on offense, but Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs are just as important for what’s ranked as a top-five defense each of the past two seasons.

While Dan Quinn’s departure could shake things up in Dallas now that Mike Zimmer is calling plays on defense, the Cowboys’ talent remains in place, and few are as good as Parsons, the 2021 Defensive Player of the Year.
Although more personnel changes are coming, it’s clear that the Cowboys are confident about their core heading into the offseason, and that includes Parsons.
Micah Parsons wants to be a part of Dallas Cowboys for life
The Dallas Cowboys may have ended their season on a sour note by getting eliminated in the playoffs in the Wild Card round, Micah Parsons hasn’t lost his enthusiasm for the future.
Parsons is aware of the Cowboys’ postseason struggles for a team that always has championship expectations yet hasn’t been able to secure a Super Bowl win since the 1995 season. Yet, Parsons believes the Cowboys’ sixth NFL Championship is in Dallas’ near future.
However, Parsons stated that he’s “going to win a championship in Dallas.”
Parsons also said he wants to be a “Cowboy for life,” which should be music to the ears of fans all across Dallas.
For now, Parsons is set for free agency in 2026, but with comments like this, don’t expect the Cowboys to allow the sensational pass rusher to hit the open market. He can begin negotiating a contract extension for the first time this offseason.
