Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz is set to be one of the biggest cards of the summer, and the event from Dallas, Texas will now also include a teenage phenom from the world of boxing.
Jake Paul has scratched out quite a niche for relevant boxing matchups that have no bearing on any notable weight class rankings. Over seven fights, he has become one of the more recognizable names in combat sports despite not being viewed as a serious prospect in the sport, as he brought his sizable fanbase from YouTube with him to the fight game.

During his rise to prominence in the industry, he has built a reputation as a disruptor. Part of his attempt to shake up the fight sports business came by forming his own promotion. While Most Valuable Promotions does not have a huge roster of talent, Paul has shown a strong ability at promoting the few fighters he has.
Ashton Sylve added to Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz event
While multi-time champion Amanda Serrano was a name in the industry, as an MVP athlete her brand has expanded exponentially. And now Jake Paul is looking to do that with 19-year-old prospect Ashton Sylve. On Wednesday, the promotion announced that the unbeaten native of California has joined August’s highly anticipated Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz card.
Sylve just competed a few weeks ago at a Most Valuable Prospects event in Orlando, Florida. On that night the lightweight talent defeated Adam Kipenga by unanimous decision to extend his professional record to 9-0. It was his first win where he did not score a knockout.
On August 5, the Jake Paul-backed fighter with battle 34-fight veteran William Silva. The Brazilian will be Sylve’s most experienced opponent to date. “Baby Face” has scored knockouts in 18 of his 30 wins with his last coming in April over Diego Gonzalo Luque.
