Police are investigating the death as a homicide, with strangulation or suffocation being looked into as possible causes of death.
Jenkins himself has been staying in Florida since the Giants broke from minicamp. He reportedly wanted to come back to New Jersey in the light of this tragic loss of life but has been advised by his lawyers to remain in Florida at this time.
