Oakland Raiders rookie cornerback Gareon Conley recently inked his first contract, but he’s yet to be cleared in an ongoing sexual assault investigation.
Last week it was reported that the case would soon likely head to a grand jury to decide whether the former Ohio State player would be charged with a crime.
Grand jury could decide in days if there should be charges in Conley case or if there's not enough evidence

Now, the case is indeed being forwarded to a grand jury.

Conley was accused of sexual assault back in April, right before the 2017 NFL Draft took place.
The cornerback has repeatedly declared his innocence. He says there are witnesses to back up his innocence, including a female, and that video evidence supports his claim as well. It worth noting he submitted to a polygraph test before the draft, and obviously the Raiders believe he will be cleared, having drafted him No. 24 overall.
However, as pointed out by BlackHoleBanter.com, the move to forward this case to a grand jury doesn’t bode well for him.
