New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold seems to be improving after missing the past two games with Mononucleosis. However, Darnold will be inactive for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Prior to the game, the second-year quarterback met up with current Eagles backup and former teammate Josh McCown.
The results were epic.
Given what could be the serious nature of the illness, it’s great to see the two having fun.
For his part, Darnold has taken everything in stride since being diagnosed following Week 1. He should be back on the field here soon.
McCown came out of retirement to sign with the Eagles after Nate Sudfeld suffered an injury during the preseason. He was Darnold’s mentor as a rookie last season.
