Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will be at Bryant-Denny Stadium Saturday for the team’s final home game of the season.
Tagovailoa shared on Twitter that he arrived back in Tuscaloosa and will attend Saturday’s game. Michael Casagrande of AL.com noted the forecast of 100% chance of rain isn’t dampening Tagovailoa’s determination to be there at the stadium.
This is pretty remarkable. As you likely know, Tagovailoa just underwent hip surgery on Monday.
However, people who know this young man certainly won’t be surprised. After all, this is one of just four or five players who’ve found a home in Nick Saban’s heart on a personal level. His exuberance and lust for life are infectious, and you can be sure Tagovailoa’s presence will mean a lot to his teammates.
