When you woke up this morning, you might have thought that the Kansas City Chiefs would beat the Houston Texans. You might have even thought that the Chiefs would win the game handily. But it’s doubtful that anyone thought that the fans in Houston would be clamoring for Brandon Weeden.
But here we are in the fourth quarter of the game, and the Texans fans are doing just that.

It may be surprising, but as Hoyer’s counterpart Alex Smith can attest to, it’s not entirely unprecedented.
So far, the Texans fans have not gotten their wish. While Brandon Weeden has warmed up on the sidelines, with just over six minutes left in the game, he has not played at quarterback. The same can not be said for Weeden’s teammate, J.J. Watt.
