The NFL world was buzzing last season when the Seattle Seahawks brought back Marshawn Lynch before the playoffs. Fans might have reason to get excited again with the possibility of “Beast Mode” returning to Seattle once more.
According to NFL Network’s Michael Silver, Lynch and the Seahawks haven’t ruled out the possibility of him returning for the 2020 season. While the 33-year-old could return to the Seahawks, it’s unlikely to happen until after training camp.
Lynch returned to his old team in Week 17 and immediately made an impact. He also proved to be an incredible mentor to his teammates and even offered some sound financial advice to everyone.
The Seahawks will be in the market for a running back this offseason with Chris Carson recovering from a fractured hip and Rashaad Penny recovering from a devastating knee injury.
While the team might need to add some more depth at running back for training camp, re-signing Lynch before the 2020 season would make the fans and players happy.
