New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning spent all of one week on the sideline after starting the past 210 games for the team.
Fresh off New York firing head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese, the team will start Manning next week against the Dallas Cowboys.

If you could not see this coming, we’re not too sure what to tell you. McAdoo lost the battle with Manning, and is now on the unemployment line. It’s what happens when you attempt to embarrass one of the most-important figures in franchise history.
We saw all of this coming heading into Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders. And once the Giants lost for the 10th time in 12 games this season, it became readily apparent that McAdoo had lost the power struggle in New York.
It remains to be seen how all of this will impact Manning’s future with the Giants. But he’ll likely close out the final quarter of the season as the team’s starter.
