The health of Andrew Luck is a huge story this offseason as the Indianapolis Colts attempt to once again get competitive after a couple of failed campaigns. There’s some good news to be heard, however, as Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports Luck’s rehab is still headed in the right direction ahead of his next check-in.
From our special QB show on @nflnetwork: Since we’re all talking QBs: An update on the rehab status of #Texans QB Deshaun Watson… and #Colts QB Andrew Luck is expected back in the facility this week after rehabbing in California with some noted QB gurus. pic.twitter.com/IAd4zpuqnS

Rapoport notes Luck is still throwing around weighted balls, rather than actual footballs. It’s unknown at this time when Luck might be able to start throwing the pigskin around, but the Colts have maintained that their quarterback will be ready for training camp.
Of course, this is exactly what the team said about Luck before last summer, and he ended up sitting out the entire season. So, fingers crossed, Colts fans.
