Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice continues to be in hot water for his involvement in a multi-vehicle accident in Dallas that injured multiple people back on March 30.

The six-vehicle accident involved a Lamborghini that was being leased to the 2023 second-round pick out of Southern Methodist. He’s since admitted to being the driver.

The Dallas Police Department were initially seeking Rice in connection with the accident. Now, we have more information on this situation. Per WFAA in Dallas, an arrest warrant has been issued for Rice in connection to the accident.

“State Sen. Royce West, who is representing Rice as his attorney, confirmed last week that his client acknowledged to investigators that he was driving the Lamborghini SUV involved in a multi-vehicle crash on Central Expressway in Dallas on March 30. A Corvette involved in the crash is leased in Rice’s name.”

In addition to Rice being in trouble with the law, the NFL released a statement after the report of these charges became public record indicating that the league has been “closely monitoring developments.” Rice faces discipline under the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

For his part, Rice has taken responsibility for his actions.

“Today I met with Dallas PD investigators regarding Saturday’s accident. I take full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities,” Rice posted on IG back in April 3. “I sincerely apologize to everyone impacted in Saturday’s accident.”
