LOOK: Kevin Durant and Draymond Green seem to be on good terms

Following the entire debacle from Monday night that led to the Golden State Warriors suspending Draymond Green for a game, things have boiled over for the two-time defending NBA champs.

The drama unfolded in Southern California during Golden State’s overtime loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. After Green failed to pass the ball to Kevin Durant, the latter went off on him in the bench. It led to the confrontation continuing in the locker room after the game with words being exchanged by both sides.

It’s the first drama we’ve seen surrounding these Warriors since they started their domination some five years ago. And it could potentially lead to Durant bolting in free agency this coming summer.

The good news? It appears that Green and Durant are at least on speaking terms. The two were seen hanging out on their way to shootaround at the Toyota Center in Houston prior to Golden State’s game against the Rockets Thursday night.

You can’t read a whole lot into one photo. But the fact that these two were seen together could tell us a story that this entire situation has been overblown by the media.

Winning doesn’t cure all ills. There’s a lot of personalities on every roster, not to mention a team that’s won three of the past four NBA titles. But any talk of this being the end of the current Warriors as we know them seems premature.

It will certainly be interesting to see the dynamic play out on the court come Thursday evening in Houston.
