Two of Blake Bortles’ favorite targets over the years will not be back with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fresh off Pro Bowler Allen Robinson signing with the Chicago Bears, ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Jacksonville is releasing fellow receiver Allen Hurns.
Jaguars are releasing WR Allen Hurns, per source. Strong market expected for him.

This isn’t necessarily a huge surprise. After putting up 1,031 yards and 10 touchdowns during a breakout 2015 campaign, Hurns has struggled with both injury and consistency over the past two years. During that span, the former Miami (F) product put up 961 yards in 21 games.
By releasing Hurns, Jacksonville saves $7 million against the cap. This comes after Jacksonville added Donte Moncrief from the division-rival Indianapolis Colts an re-signed Marqise Lee last week.
