Manning’s status has been the talk of the league for the last week.
It’s rare to see athletes so open. It’s also not surprising to see that Manning was hurt by what happened. But Manning should be commended for how well he handled the situation, especially given how crushing the situation was.
The good news for Manning is that the benching appears to be short lived. Coach Ben McAdoo has been fired and all signs point to Manning starting in Week 14.
