One of the greatest players in the history of the New York Jets will officially retire as a member of the Gang Green this coming Tuesday.
After announcing his retirement earlier in the week, the 33-year-old Darrelle Revis will sign a one-day contract with the Jets.

It’s his way of going out as a member of the team that he suited up for during a brilliant eight-year span. During that time, the future Hall of Famer earned five Pro Bowl appearances and three All-Pro honors.
While he did play for the Patriots, Buccaneers and Chiefs during a distinguished career, Revis’ name will always be synonymous with the Jets.
Following his retirement, acting owner Christoper Johnson had nothing but praise to throw in Revis’ direction. He’ll now be the toast of Jersey for at least one more day.
