This week’s Monday Night Football matchup between Houston Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler and the Denver Broncos is going to be a juicy one.
And, it would appear thatĀ Osweiler is keeping a sense of humor heading into the game according to Brian T. Smith of the Houston Chronicle.

Earlier this week, Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall did not mince words when it came to the team’s plan of attack on Osweiler.
“It’s Brock. We know Brock. He came from here. And we want to kill him. That’s just what we want to do.”
Perhaps Osweiler’s lightheartedness about facing his former team is his way of preparing for what is in store. The Broncos defense is no joke, leading the league with 21 sacks.
Osweiler has to be feelingĀ anxious about his former teammates charging at him with ill intentions.
Osweiler must be prepared to take his punches. He voluntarily left a Super Bowl champion team for a lucrative contract with a team that has yet to make the big game. When he signed with Houston, he suggested his new team would provide him a better chance to win.
Now, months later and about to return to his old stomping grounds, Osweiler regrets making that statement.
Monday night’s game is bound to bring out emotions all around. And, it would not be surprising at all to see Denver’s defense make a complete mockery of Osweiler and his Texans offense when the gameĀ kicks off in just a few days from now.
