Broncos LB Brandon Marshall doesn’t hold back discussing Brock Osweiler

Houston Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler will be returning to his old stomping grounds this upcoming Monday night. The high-priced free-agent will lead his first-place Texans into Denver to take on the Broncos.

It’s a highly anticipated return for both the player and the team he “helped” lead to a Lombardi Trophy less than a calendar year ago.

It also doesn’t come without hard feelings.

Since Osweiler decided to take the big bucks in Texas instead of returning as the Broncos’ starter, members of his old team’s front office have put him on blast (more on that here).

Osweiler himself has also taken to the media to respond to these criticisms.

Whether it was tongue-in-cheek or something completely different, Osweiler’s former teammate, linebacker Brandon Marshall, decided to speak out on the quarterback.

Some may take this as Marshall joking with his former teammate. Then again, the seemingly ugly end to Osweiler’s tenure in Denver could suggest something completely different.

Surely Marshall doesn’t want to kill Osweiler. That would be bad. That’s also likely against the law. But it wouldn’t be surprising if Wade Phillips and the Broncos’ defense drew up some pretty absurd pressure come next Monday night in Denver.

If nothing, else it could be a way to show Brock that he made the wrong decision in leaving Mile High.
