This article will focus on the best value play at each position using NFL DraftKings’ pricing for the Sunday 1 p.m. ET slate. We will provide one cheap option at every position based on matchups and game theory from top to bottom. Now that we’ve done the housekeeping let’s get into Week 13.

Quarterback: Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints ($5,600)
Carr has thrown for 300 yards in three of the last five games, and he has a great matchup this week against the Lion’s 29th-ranked defense against the QB position. This game could have some fantasy goodness, as Vegas has it with the fourth-highest projected total on the slate. Assuming he is healthy after entering concussion protocol last week, you can stack Carr with his top WR in Chris Olave, as well as receiving RB Alvin Kamara.

Running Back: Najee Harris, Pittsburgh Steelers ($5,200)
Harris filled this spot last week, and it paid off, so let’s go back to him again. He has scored 15 or more fantasy points in three of the last four games and has a great matchup against the Cardinals’ defense, which has allowed almost 25 fantasy points per game to opposing RBs over the previous five games. With the Steelers’ offense looking reinvigorated under new OC Eddie Faulkner, he should keep rolling this week.

Wide Receiver: Curtis Samuel, Washington Commanders ($4,100)
Samuel had 12 targets, nine receptions, and 100 receiving yards last week. He is cheaper than both Jahan Dotson and Terry McLaurin but actually leads the trio in yards per route run. He should be involved in this game that projects to be a track meet at home against the Dolphins.

Tight End: Tyler Conklin, New York Jets ($3,000)
Conklin is averaging nine fantasy points per game over the last four contests. The veteran tight end was a favorite of Zach Wilson, and he still saw five targets from Tim Boyle last week. This week, he has a great matchup against the Falcons’ 27th-ranked defense against the TE position.

Defense: Denver Broncos ($2,700)
The Denver defense is averaging 12 fantasy points per game over the four games. They have a tough matchup on the road against a red-hot C.J. Stroud and the Texans, but they are still viable. Defense scoring is unpredictable, so sometimes we can take a risk on a cheap play to build up the rest of our lineups.Â
