While everyone is spending their time working on NFL Mock Drafts, fantasy baseball mock drafts and super cool top 10 lists, Tim Newcomb of SI.com created a futuristic look to what baseball stadiums may look like in 2030. At first glance, the concepts are mind blowing. The realistic question is whether the 99% could attend.
This is a terrific and thoughtful piece by Newcomb. It really is amazing to see the transformations from what stadiums looked like in 1994 to 2014. It will be interesting to see what transpires from 2014 to 2034. Back to the Future II and Demolition Man gave us a glimpse…and they weren’t far off. Maybe Newcomb is on to something here.
