In the modern day of football, where teams are passing more now than ever before, teams can never have enough quality cornerbacks on the roster. Luckily for the Alabama Crimson Tide, coach Nick Saban has two intriguing cornerback prospects whose names could be called in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Yet, while the Crimson Tide have benefited from the play of Kool-Aid McKinstry and Terrion Arnold, they must also find a way to replace their production in 2024. McKinstry, after three years at ‘Bama, is expected to enter his name in the draft.
Now, as NFL Draft insider Tony Pauline states, Arnold has also committed to an agent and will enter the draft once Alabama’s season wraps up.
Arnold isn’t quite viewed in the same class as McKinstry, but he’s in the mix among the top-ranked cornerback prospects set to enter the 2024 NFL Draft. For now, Arnold is viewed as a potential first-round prospect, and a strong showing in the College Football Playoff may be just what’s needed to solidify his status as a day-one selection.
