New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was in a grumpy mood during the first half of his team’s AFC Wildcard game against the Tennessee Titans Saturday night.
That included Brady going after star receiver Julian Edelman pre-snap on a goal-to-go situation in the opening stanza.
The great news here for fans of the defending champs is that Brady completed the pass to Edelman for the Pats’ only touchdown of the first half.
Later in the opening two quarters, Brady went after rookie wide receiver N’Keal Harry for slowing down on a route.
The interesting thing here is that the play before saw the six-time Super Bowl champion nearly throw a pick-six into the hands of former teammate Logan Ryan.
This could be interpreted one of two ways. An angry Tom Brady is bad news for the Titans. There’s also a chance he’s just not in a good mood as the future Hall of Famer plays potentially his final game at Gillette Stadium as a member of the Patriots.
