Antonio Brown made waves once again on Friday morning with an Instagram post in which he photoshopped himself wearing a San Francisco 49ers jersey being embraced by none other than Jerry Rice.
He also added a quote from Rice’s recent interview with 95.7 The Game, when he said, “If you got a player like that, that you can get that can really add to the offense, you have to go for it.”
During that same interview, Rice shared that Brown had told him he wants to play for the 49ers “really bad.”
Well, another Hall of Famer saw Brown’s post on Instagram and chimed in with his own message for the Pittsburgh Steelers star. Deion Sanders, in the comments section, wrote, “Well dang I’m embracing u in Dallas,” per Jennifer Lee Chan on Twitter.
For what it’s worth, the 49ers have an incredible amount of cap space, but Dallas isn’t that far behind. The ‘Boys do have a ton of decisions to make soon on their own extensions and free agents, but Brown is still under contract for three more seasons.
This offseason is sure to provide fans with endless rumors. With Brown being such a massive fish there will be no shortage of interest in his services.
