Potential Antonio Brown trade market reportedly ‘huge’

Based on comments made by Pittsburgh Steelers owner Art Rooney II about Antonio Brown, it seems like a given he’ll be traded at some point this offseason. Assuming that does happen, the market for Brown’s services is going to be red hot.

Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report noted on Friday that “Teams are telling me the potential trade market for Antonio Brown is huge.” He also added that those teams interested in Brown believe “once Brown got into their program they’d be able to control him.”

The reason that thought process is even necessary, of course, is due to the way things so quickly unraveled this past year for Brown in Pittsburgh. He missed team meetings on more than one occasion and notably was benched for the team’s final regular-season game after ditching the Steelers the week ahead of that pivotal contest.

Talent trumps all, though. And when it comes to talent at the receiver position, it’s hard to find a player that compares to Brown. The dynamic star has racked up staggering stats in the past six season, tallying 686 catches for 9,145 yards and 67 touchdowns since 2013.

Even missing Week 17, Brown put up 104 catches for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2018. So, yeah. Teams with cap space and draft capital are going to be clamoring for the chance to land this prodigious talent, attitude and all.

On that note, here’s a list of teams that have the best shot.
