Adrian Peterson is like the Sharknado movie franchise. He just won’t go away. Fresh off visiting with the Washington Redskins this weekend, Peterson has reportedly signed with the squad.
#Redskins are signing RB Adrian Peterson, sources tell me and @RapSheet. Peterson embarks on his 12th NFL season with his fourth team. Needs 37 rushing yards to pass Jim Brown and crack the top 10 all time. Can do it quickly in Washington.

This move comes after rookie second-round pick Derrius Guice suffered a torn ACL in his preseason debut.
While Washington is desperate for something of substance in the backfield, it remains to be seen if Peterson is the answer.
The 33-year-old running back averaged just 3.4 yards per rush splitting time between New Orleans and Arizona last season. That came on the heels of him missing all but three games of the 2016 season to injury.
