The Dallas Cowboys have been oft-linked to Seattle Seahawks’ All-Pro safety Earl Thomas. Cowboys’ Director of Player Personnel, Stephen Jones, confirmed that while the team hasn’t talked about trading for Earl Thomas in months, the door is open.
Stephen Jones: haven’t talked to Seattle about Earl Thomas since around the draft. Will keep options open if need to improve at safety/have opportunity

Certainly, Thomas would be an improvement. He has been named First or Second-team All-Pro on five different occasions, including 2017. Thomas earned his sixth Pro Bowl spot in 2017.
Thomas has been clear that, short of a new contract, he wants to be moved. On Tuesday, reports emerged that he’s selling his Seattle home and is done with the Seahawks.
As such, this would certainly seem like a logical time for Dallas and Seattle to re-engage the talks.
