Free agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is pursuing his options including the possibility of signing with the New York Jets.
According to Yahoo Sports NFL insider, Jordan Schultz, the Jets have been in contact with Suh, though a visit has not been scheduled as of this moment.
Ndamukong Suh update: #Suh tells me that the #Jets have emerged as a serious contender, alongside the #Titans, #Rams and #Saints (in no particular order). While a visit to NY has yet to be facilitated, Todd Bowles/the Jets have informed Suh precisely how they envision using him.

This news might just drive up the asking price for Suh. The Jets have the sixth-most salary cap space available and could certainly open their pocketbook up to the All-Pro defensive tackle.
Though, the Titans — who also have plenty of cap space — are among this handful of teams interested in Suh.
All the while, the Los Angeles Rams were said to be feeling “good” that they might sign Suh after he cancelled a visit with the Oakland Raiders this week.
Soon enough, we should expect Suh to make a decision. The three-time All-Pro has put up a total of 422 career tackles, 51.5 sacks and 28 defended passes.
